Frequently Asked Questions
1. What time does worship begin on Sunday?
Our weekly worship services are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM. Our services typically last between 75-90 minutes.
2. How can I accept Christ or become a member of the church?
Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is done by confessing sins, praying for repentance, and believing the good news of God's transformation. You can accept Christ as a first-time believer, recommit your life to God, or join our church as a believer. You can become a member in person by walking forward after the gospel message. You can also become a member by joining virtually on YouTube or Zoom. Lastly, you can speak with one of the deacons privately after worship has ended.
3. What can I expect from the worship service?
You can expect inspiring preaching, uplifting worship, and sincere hospitality. We do worship God through giving an offering, but giving is not mandatory. You can meet Pastor Keenan before or after the worship service.
4. What should I wear?
Come as you are! Some dress casually, others more formally. Most importantly, we believe!
5. Is there something for my children/grandchildren?
Hybrid Youth Sunday School is offered each Sunday morning. Every 1st Sunday, children in grades K-8 gather in the Lower Sanctuary for a special experience.
6. Where can I park?
Parking is available in the lot across the street from the main entrance of the church. Street parking is available within walking distance of the church. Also, there is a parking garage on Sophia Street within walking distance of the church. Our dedicated security volunteers are active in assisting members and guests with parking options.
7. Do you offer general counseling and congregational care?
Yes. We can connect you with clergy or deacons trained to provide guidance. Although we are not experts, we believe the word of God contains principles for transformation. Additionally, we can provide prayer and visitation for people in need.
8. Does your church have an elevator?
Yes! You can enter the church building and ride the elevator to the sanctuary. Our main church building is wheelchair accessible.
9. Which Sunday do you observe Baptism and the Lord's Supper?
We observe the two ordinances of the church every first Sunday. If you worship virtually, we invite you to use similar elements at home during the Lord's Supper.
